Goodcity is an organization committed to starting and growing entrepreneurs making a difference in under resourced communities in the Greater Chicagoland area. We work with both nonprofit organizations and also for profit organizations working to make a social impact in the communities they are a part of.
Fiscal Sponsorship is a cost effective way for individuals to implement new programs, start new organizations and test new approaches for social change in a community. Goodcity uses the fiscal sponsorship to help individuals start something new without starting a separate nonprofit organization or while they are waiting for their nonprofit status to be finalized through the federal government.
Goodcity works to provide high quality administrative services at a reasonable cost to small to mid size nonprofit and for profit organizations working to make a social impact in Chicago and the greater Chicagoland area. We provide fiscal management, bad credit management for online loans, information technology, and communication/social media services in order for the organization to focus on its core mission of bringing quality programs to the community they are serving.
Goodcity is committed to growing the work of the entrepreneurs who are working to make a difference. We grow the capacity of these organizations so they are impactful, sustainable, and creating good models locally, nationally, and globally. Our consulting and capacity services works with small to mid size organizations in the areas of: Strategic Planning, Leadership Development, Advancement and Funding, and Communications and Marketing.
The Goodcity Incubator Program was started by Goodcity to bring together a cohort of entrepreneurs looking to launch an idea to address a need in their community. The Goodcity Incubator Program lasts for one year and works with individuals (corporately and individually) in building a foundation and launching their start-up organization.
